Coca Cola invokes such intense memories and recollections from childhood. How is Coca Cola able to do that? A summary of what Coca Cola is all about.

Coca Cola is one of the staples of American society today. The impact of Coca Cola extends from generation to generation and is still impacting society today. In order for Coca Cola to have had this effect on the American society, the return on assets must be positive for the company. For Coca Cola to have a maximum affect, not only must there be a positive return on assets, but this positivity must also extend outside of the U.S.

Coca Cola- A Monument

When one thinks of Coca Cola there can be a plethora of emotion that is tied to the thought. Because of Coca Cola's noted success, the wide range of emotion and nostalgia felt from the slightest mention of the name is still invoked in younger and older generations today. Coca Cola has established itself as a monument in American society.

Coca Cola by the Numbers

Coca Cola is experiencing dramatic positive climbs in the return on assets area. As of 2009, the company has a 13.7% return on assets number (Forbes.com, 2009). This is quite amazing since many companies went down in 2009. One may ask how Coca Cola can still be able to achieve positive numbers. One thing to be noted is that Coca Cola only has 0.50 in total debt/equity (Forbes.com, 2009). With debts being low and return on assets being high, there can be formula for success. Coca Cola has formulated and duplicated this recipe time and time again.

Foreign Sales of Coke

In addition to return on assets, one can see the notable gains from foreign sales. Coca Cola increased sales by 2% but increased three percent worldwide (Epoch Times, 2000-2009). Just in India alone, Coca Cola grew by 31%, without noting the seven percent growth in Turkey and fifteen percent in Turkey (Epoch Times, 2000-2009).

Multifaceted Corporation

Coca Cola has been able to be multifaceted, meaning the company as a whole has been able to duplicate itself in countries other than the U.S. Coca Cola has established itself as a monument in the U.S. and foreign countries. Diversification of a product is extremely essential to a company's growth and stability. By introducing the Coca Cola product to foreign countries quite extensively, Coca Cola is not only national but international as well.
